Our Holiday Cottage Awards
2009 awards
At the National Railway Museum in York on the 23rd April 2009 John and
Carol were presented with their first National silver award for
"Tourism for All" recognising their commitment to accessibility. The
award was presented by the comedian Michael McIntyre and Visit England
chairman Lady Penelope Cobham.
2008 awards
On the 8th October 2008 Elms Farm Cottages were proud to win the 2008
Gold Award for the category 'Access for All' at the recent East
Midlands Enjoy England Excellence Awards ceremony at Nottingham.
Presented to Carol and John by BBC TV personality Dominic
Littlewood the award recognises the high standard of disabled
access at our self catering cottages.
2007 awards
Carol and John were delighted to receive the Lincolnshire Tourism Star
Award for Self Catering Accommodation of the Year 2007 at a luncheon at
the Petwood Hotel.
Elms Farm Cottages has won a prestigious award from the East Midlands
Tourism Enjoy England Excellence Awards. They scooped the Gold prize
and were named the best 'Self Catering Holiday of the Year 2007'. The
award was presented by GMTV's Andrew Castle at a ceremony in Nottingham.
The Bittern Environmental Award was presented to Elms Farm Cottages in
recognition of their commitment to Environmental Good Practice in the
Fens Region.
2006 awards
At a ceremony at the Goosedale Conference Centre, Nottingham, Elms Farm
Cottages went one better than last year by winning the Silver Award for
'Self Catering Holiday of the Year 2006' in the East Midlands Tourism
Enjoy England Excellence Awards.
The Boston Disability Forum awarded Elms Farm Cottages their Good
Service Award for 2006 as a citation awarded in recognition of working
to improve the life of the disabled person in Boston.
2005 awards
On the 28th September 2005 at a gala dinner at the Athena in Leicester
we were proud to be receive our first award after being open for just 6
months we won the Bronze Award for 'Self Catering Holiday of the Year
2005'.
