Lincolnshire offers a fantastic range of locally produced and grown products from drinks, cheese and chocolate makers, beef farms and vegetable producers.
Lincolnshire produce can be found at many of the local farm shops, farmers markets and at special events throughout the year including the Lincolnshire Show, Lincolnshire Christmas Food & Drink Fair, Burghley House Fine Food Fair in Stamford plus the Lincolnshire Sausage Festival in October at Lincoln Castle and Lincoln's Christmas Market in December. Bostons own market runs on Saturday and Wednesday where 'fresh from the field' produce can be purchased.
The rural county of Lincolnshire is famous for its delicious food and drink. Your cottage will have the latest "Good Taste" food and drink magazine with details of places offering you a range of quality local produce to make your stay an authentic and enjoyable Lincolnshire experience.
We love introducing our guests to some of Lincolnshire's fantastic products both grown and produced on our farm and in our county. We want all our guests to explore and discover a taste of Lincolnshire during your stay.
Our taste of Lincolnshire "Welcome Pack" can be purchased when booking and waiting in your cottage on arrival. Our Lincolnshire "Welcome Pack" includes a tempting selection of local products for you to enjoy during your stay.

- Grantham Gingerbread biscuits
Milk and a small starter selection of Tea, Coffee and Sugar will also be in your cottage.

You can purchase an 'Elms Farm Welcome Pack' direct from us, and we will ensure it is in your cottage for your arrival. (please allow 48 hours notice if you have not ordered your welcome pack when booking).

Everyone should try the famous Lincolnshire sausages and soft fruity flavours of traditional Lincolnshire Plum loaf - perfect topped with a slice of Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese.
Sample the smooth ales from Bateman’s Brewery, the gently bubbling fruity drinks from Belvoir fruit farms or enjoy the unusual but delicious taste of Lincolnshire Chine, an old Lincolnshire favourite of a ham joint scored and the slits are then filled with a chopped parsley mixture and cooked in the usual way. There’s a veritable feast of fresh produce grown, produced and readily available in our county just waiting to be enjoyed!
Lincolnshire Co op stores across our county stock a selection of local produce under their "Love Local" range, you can purchase everything from Gadsbys breads, Lincolnshire eggs, cheeses, Pipers Crisps and delicious Grantham Gingerbread biscuits.
Our local pub, The Wheatsheaf at Hubberts Bridge is very popular with guests, serving delicious food and only a short walk from Elms Farm Cottages
Ivys Farm Shop and restaurant at Swineshead is a popular place for local produce, lunches and superb homemade cakes. Ivys has a large outdoor dining area to enjoy in the summer as you watch the goats and alpacas. An excellent place for early evening meals with the children.
Manor Farm Shop are a couple of miles from us offering 'fresh from the farm' produce together with meats from A.Wright & Sons, butchers.
Mountains Farm Shop at East Heckington is excellent for homemade cakes, coffee and bistro style meals as well as "Feast" the outdoor food servery next to the childrens play area. Mountains are award winning butchers and have an excellent butchery shop alongside the restaurant for you to purchase Boston Sausages
Delfino's in Dolphin Lane, Boston is a wonderful Coffee Shop and restaurant.
The Greenhouse Coffee Shop in Church Street, close to Boston Stump is small independent and dog friendly too.
You’ll also want to pay a visit to Mountains the Butcher in High Street, Boston - ‘Purveyors of the finest handmade Lincolnshire sausages’. These are the delicious Boston sausages you will find in our welcome hamper!
Try Stuffed Chine or Haslet from Bycrofts the butcher in Dolphin Lane, who also offer a delicious range of ready meals and Lincolnshire Sausages.
Batemans Brewery at Wainfleet is a great day out and of course, a chance to try some locally brewed beer and ales whilst enjoying the history of this family business.
